1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DriftSensor ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of Service

DriftSensor provides DNS monitoring and drift detection services that help you monitor your domain's DNS records and receive alerts when changes are detected. The Service includes:

  • Real-time DNS record monitoring
  • Change detection and alerting
  • Security analysis and scoring
  • Historical change tracking
  • API access (depending on plan)
  • Integration capabilities

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
  • Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or malicious purpose
  • Monitor domains that you do not own or have authorization to monitor
  • Use automated scripts to abuse the Service or exceed rate limits
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Payment and Billing

5.1 Pricing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your selected billing cycle. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

5.2 Payment

You agree to pay all fees associated with your selected plan. All payments are processed through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method.

5.3 Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 30 days of your initial purchase, contact us for a full refund. After 30 days, fees are non-refundable.

5.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of DriftSensor and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software, unless laws prohibit these restrictions or you have our written permission.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding your data.

You retain all rights to your data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide and improve the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected. You use the Service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DRIFTSENSOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
  • Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the Service by any third party

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service exceed the amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DriftSensor and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
